Visvim Was Founded In 2001 By Hiroki Nakamura And Its Original Designs And Products Were Footwear Inspired By American Work Boots, Moccasins And Trainers. By 2005 Visvim Had Grown Into A Full Collection Of Shoes, Clothing And Accessories. Hiroki’S Early Designs Were Very Much Influenced By U.S. Military Wear But Over Time His Desire Was To Produce Items That Would Be Seen As The Vintage Of Tomorrow. Visvim’S Ability Of Mixing Age Old Practices With Modern Technology Has Produced Some Of The Most Unique And Desirable Products In The Market Today. Future Vintage.
The Tagline Of “Subsequence” Is “Arts & Crafts For The Age Of Eclectic.” This Experimental Project Will Cover A Wide Range Of Arts, Crafts And Cultures, Inclusive To All Ages, Genders And Nationalities, Featuring Both Japanese And International Contributors.Based On The Guiding Principle Of Unfolding New And Untold Stories From Individual Perspectives. The Aim Is To Create A Magazine In The Spirit Of Passionate Craftsmen And Artisans Who Love Their Craft. We Offer These Stories To Anybody With An Interest In Living A Creative Life Or Immersing Themselves In Culture.
